The parents of Kelly Brook were furious with their daughter for dating American actor Billy Zane.

The 27-year-old says, “At first, my parents were furious that I was seeing Billy. Their reaction was ‘Oh no. Why? The leading man? God Kelly, how predictable.’ They were reading newspapers and seeing us gallivanting around and they’d say, ‘What are you doing? You don’t even know him.’”

“They weren’t excited at all. They were concerned, worried and scared for me. It has taken them a couple of years for them to get to know Billy, to come around to him.”

Kelly Brook returns to her modeling roots to promote her new range of swimwear for the shop New Look. Inspired by the 1950’s Hollywood glamor that the 27 year-old actress helped to design.

Kelly Brook is currently filming a role for the upcoming film Fishtales, shooting scenes on the Greek isle of Spetses.

Kelly, a mermaid, stars opposite her boyfriend Billy Zane who is playing a widowed professor who becomes the object of her affections.

Kelly spent weeks improving her swimming for the romantic  family comedy film. Cant wait to see how it turns out!
